Wreaths will arrive around Veterans Day...just in time to adorn your home for the holidays. 50% of wreath sales go directly to the scout accounts and 50% to the pack to help deliver the scouting program. October Roundtable 10/13/2011

Roundtable tomorrow night...

Well, at least, it's Roundtable this Thursday. Please don't forget to mark your calendar and join us this week for an activity packed evening!

Cub Scout leaders will have access to specific resources on Fire Safety/Prevention and planning fire department outings. The Cub Scout breakout also will include an activity on creating an evacuation plan. Boy Scout leaders will be lead in a discussion of planning effective High Adventure activities. Richard Kenison will be making a presentation on High Adventure. Scout leaders will also be encouraged to share stories and resources for effective High Adventure activities.

Most importantly, Rechartering packets and training will be available Thursday at Roundtable. We welcome Scout leaders and guests to participate in our normal monthly programming but encourage each pack and troop to have a designated leader to participate in the Rechartering training. Please make sure that your Committee chair or a person who will work with the chairperson is available for this important training. If your unit is not able to send a designated representative to Roundtable, please contact David Noyes to arrange a time to pick up your packet.

A note in reference to Webelo Woods. Registration will NOT be available Thursday night for Webelo Woods. Please do not forget to register your pack for this exciting district event on the council website before Wednesday night. We will have a few minutes to answer your questions in reference to the weekend but registration will not be open after midnight on Wednesday. Thank you for helping us plan a fun and successful weekend!

Remember that childcare is available at Roundtable this year from 7:00 -8:30. Childcare is for children ages 1 - 8. We appreciate the help of first aide trained Venturing Scouts for their support of this program. Hopefully, planned child care will make it easier to invite your new leaders and parents.

We look forward to seeing you!

Garage Sale

Thank you! Everyone who came out to support Pack 622 at our First Garage Sale. Many people got great deals as most items were $1 or less. Huge thanks to Kerry, Jennifer, Melanie who supplied most of the goods(as well as time and planning) that were for sale. The left over Items went to a local goodwill. And many Beanie Babies are going to Doernbecker.

We had great weather and lots of help, even sold some of the popcorn for our Fall Funraiser.

Special thanks to Rock Creek Christian Center for hosting us.
